I'm an independent developer and trader based in Kuala Lumpur. I built VersaCharts because I was tired of paying $13–60/month for TradingView when all I needed was crypto charting. No stocks, no forex, no social features I never used.

I've been doing TA on crypto since 2018. Started with TradingView's free tier, eventually paid for Pro, then realised I was paying for features designed for equities traders. Crypto deserves its own charting tool.

So I built one. 96 indicators, 36 drawing tools, 10 exchanges, real-time data. No fluff.

The philosophy

Good charting tools should be accessible. The free tier of VersaCharts gives you everything you need for technical analysis. Pro is for power users who want multi-chart layouts and saved workspaces, and it's priced at $3–5/month, not $60.

The tech

VersaCharts is a web app — no download, no install, works on any device. Built on Lightweight Charts v5, WebSocket feeds from 10 exchanges, and optimised for fast rendering even with heavy indicator stacks. Hosted in Asia (Singapore) for latency reasons.

Privacy

No Google Analytics. No tracking pixels. Analytics is Plausible — aggregated, no cookies, GDPR-safe. I don't sell data. That's it.
